Arriving by plane

Oulu airport, the second busiest in Finland, offers over 20 daily flights to/from Helsinki and the flight time is less than 1 h. The Helsinki airport offers 130 non-stop destinations around the world and 350 departures a day, connecting Europe with the rest of the world. Air Baltic also offers direct flights straight to Oulu from Riga, Latvia​ three times a week​.

There are comfortable bus and taxi connections from the Oulu airport to the center of the city where the conference venue is situated.

Arriving by Train

Oulu is also easily accessible by several daily train and bus connections. The distance between Helsinki and Oulu swishes by in only six hours by train, and many daily train connections via Tampere serve Oulu. The venue is located only 700 meters away from the train station.

Arrive by bus

The 15-kilometre journey between the airport and the conference venue takes approximately half an hour by bus. The nearest bus stops to the venue are Kuvernööri and Franzen, both located less than two minutes walk from the venue. Check the bus schedules on Oulu public transport web page.

Arrive by car

The city of Oulu is located about 600 km north from Helsinki, which is approximately 7 hours by car.

Hotel guests can also park their car in the Autoheikki parking garage at Heikinkatu 5. Upon arrival, you can drive straight into Autoheikki or go through the reception first. You can park in front of the hotel’s main entrance for 30 minutes with a parking disc.
