About ISMICT

ISMICT – International Symposium on Medical Information and Communication Technology was launched in 2006. The first event, based on the invited papers, was organised in YCU, Yokohama, Japan in December.

The first ISMICT conference based on the open Call for Papers was the 2^nd ISMICT, held in Oulu, Finland in December 2007. Now, after 20 years, the conference returns back to Oulu. During these two decades, the event has circulated the world, and the timing of the conference has been moved to spring.
