The 21^th IEEE International Symposium on Medical Information and Communication Technology, ISMICT 2027, will create a solid occasion for technology and healthcare/welfare experts to present their novel scientific and experimental achievements, elaborate new ideas, and find new potential collaborators for joint future R&D challenges.

Call for Papers

We are inviting researchers and contributors on healthcare, wellness, clinical therapy, and surgery, as well as ICT, biomedical and mechanical engineering, and others to share their thoughts with multidisciplinary colleagues. We are also covering relating international standardization, regulation, regulatory science, and business topics for medical ICT devices and healthcare systems and services.

Requested scientific, experimental, visionary, etc. papers are invited on topics including, but not limited to, the following: 

• Communication systems for healthcare, medical and wellness applications 
• 5G/6G in healthcare 
• Body area network (BAN) technologies 
• Wearable and implantable devices 
• Privacy and security issues 
• Wellness and sports training 
• Medical device regulatory science 
• Rehabilitation and activity monitoring 
• Pervasive health care and remote patient monitoring 
• Antennas, radio propagation and interference for BANs and healthcare applications 
• Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) 
• AI/data analytics for medicine, healthcare and welfare 
• Fox/edge/cloud computing and continuum 
• Smart hospitals 
• Business models  

Authors are invited to submit full papers of 4-6 pages or short papers of 1-3 pages. The review process is according to the IEEE regulations. Accepted and presented papers will be included in the IEEE Xplore.

When submitting, please use the official conference manuscript templates provided by IEEE.

IEEE conference templates contain guidance text for composing and formatting conference papers. Please ensure that all guidance text is removed from your conference paper prior to submission to the conference.

Failure to remove template text from your paper may result in your paper not being published.
